When was your network founded?
Careleaver e. V. network was born in 2012 and two years later the association was founded as a formal background for the network.
What are your main projects and activities?
We offer many possibilities to get in touch with other care leavers from Germany and all over the world (for example meetings, working groups, …). We provide care leavers and skilled personal with information and the activities.
How would you describe the leaving care policies in your country?
Many young people have to leave care when they are 18 – though the law offers to stay in care until 21 (if you need the help). We want that care leavers get the same support as the peers so that they will have a could start into an independent life.
How can we keep in touch and support your organization?
